CanSat and ExoLab were part of the NASA presentation at Clyde Arbuckle Elementary in San Jose

Big thanks to Andres Martinez for inviting us,, to be part of the “An Evening with NASA” at Clyde Arbuckle Elementary in San Jose. We had a great time introducing our CanSat and ExoLab to some younger students. We got the students reading live data and doing some math, figuring out how high the balloon is by measuring the barometric pressure. They all got it and their parents were so proud.

Superintendent Hilaria Bauer of Alum Rock Union Elementary School District and Olga Martinez, Principal Arbuckle Elementary stopped by to learn about our experiment on the International Space Station.

We met folks from Spheres at NASA Ames, San Jose State, Lick Observatory and Space Cookies.
