We’re proud to announce that three of our abstracts have been accepted for presentation at the prestigious International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Sydney this year:
“Seeds of Discovery: ExoLab’s Global Inquiry Pedagogy Connecting K-12 Students with Space Research” – Showcasing how our ExoLab program has engaged 24,500+ students and 1,400+ teachers across 15 countries through 12 ISS missions, creating authentic participation in space science.
“Computer Vision Enabled Analysis of Medicago truncatula in Microgravity” – Highlighting our ExoLab 11 mission’s ongoing research with Purdue University, Space Tango, and AstroBotany, investigating plant responses in microgravity while engaging hundreds of students in parallel Earth-based experiments.
“Expanding STEM Engagement Through Space Research: The AVA Challenge” – Presenting results from our Australian Virtual Astronaut program, which has reached 17,000+ students with immersive STEM education combining hands-on workshops, live webinars, and authentic space research experiences.
We look forward to meeting you in Sydney to share our commitment to advancing space education that connects classroom learning to authentic scientific research and workforce development. We look forward to sharing our findings and expanding our global community of education collaborators.
